Privacy Policy

How DollarHub collects, uses and protects your information.

Last updated:10/19/2026

This Privacy Policy explains how DOLLARHUB, trading as DollarHub ("DollarHub", "we", "us" or "our"), collects, uses, shares and protects information when you visit dollarhub.com, chat with our AI funding agent, submit a funding request, or otherwise deal with us.

DollarHub arranges business financing — including business term loans and merchant cash advances — for business owners. Our services are directed at businesses and business owners in the United States, not at consumers seeking personal credit.

The short version

  • We collect what you tell us (your contact details and information about your business), plus basic technical data from your visit.
  • We use it to answer your questions, assess what funding may suit you, and connect you with funding partners.
  • Our AI agent conversations are stored so we can follow up and improve the service. Please do not type Social Security numbers, bank login details or card numbers into the chat.
  • We share information with funding partners, lenders and the service providers that run our systems — not with anyone else, except where the law requires it.
  • You can ask us for a copy of your information, correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact details are at the end.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Funding requests and contact forms: your name, business name, email address, phone number, the product you are interested in, the amount you are looking for, how long you have been in business, and anything you write in the message field.
  • AI agent conversations: everything you type into the chat, along with the details the agent collects during the conversation — typically your name, contact details, industry, time in business, average monthly revenue, the amount you need, what the funds are for, and your approximate credit range.
  • Applications: if you continue to a full application, you may provide business formation details, your EIN, ownership information, business bank statements, tax returns, card processing statements and government-issued identification.
  • Newsletter sign-up: your email address.
  • Correspondence: emails, text messages and call notes when you contact us.

Information collected automatically

  • Log data: IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed and timestamps.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: see section 7.
  • Usage data: which articles and pages you read, and how you move through the site.

Information from other sources

  • Funding partners and lenders may tell us the status of an application you submitted through us.
  • Business data providers and public records may be used to verify business details such as registration, licensing and UCC filings.
  • Credit reporting agencies: [DESCRIBE YOUR CREDIT CHECK PRACTICE — for example: we do not pull credit ourselves; our funding partners may perform a soft or hard credit inquiry once you authorize an application].
  • Advertising and analytics platforms, where you reached us through an ad or a referral link.

Sensitive information

Some of what you share — financial records, identification documents, and in some cases personal credit information — is sensitive. We ask only for what is needed to assess a funding request, we limit who can see it internally, and we do not use it for any purpose other than those described in this policy.

2. How we use your information

  • To answer questions and respond to funding requests.
  • To assess which funding products may fit your business and to prepare and submit applications on your instruction.
  • To introduce you to funding partners and lenders, and to follow up on applications.
  • To operate the AI agent, including generating responses and recommending the right application form.
  • To contact you by email, phone or text about your inquiry, and — where you have agreed — about other funding options and offers.
  • To send the newsletter you subscribed to.
  • To improve the website, our content and the agent's accuracy.
  • To prevent fraud, verify identity, secure our systems and keep records.
  • To comply with legal, regulatory and record-keeping obligations.

We do not use automated processing alone to make a final credit decision. Funding decisions are made by our funding partners, with human review.

3. The AI agent

Our website includes an AI assistant that answers questions about business funding and collects the details needed to point you to the right application.

  • Conversations are stored on our servers, together with the details extracted from them, so that a specialist can follow up and so we can improve the service.
  • Your messages are processed by a third-party AI provider (currently OpenAI) in order to generate replies. They act as our service provider and process the content under their business terms.
  • Please do not enter Social Security numbers, full bank account or card numbers, online banking credentials, or passwords into the chat. We never ask for these through the chat window.
  • The agent does not approve funding. It explains options and prepares your file; every application is reviewed by people.
  • You can ask us to delete a conversation at any time using the contact details below.

4. When and with whom we share information

  • Funding partners, lenders and funders: when you ask us to find you funding, we share your business and contact details with the partners whose products fit your request. They use the information under their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to read before submitting an application.
  • Service providers: the companies that host our website, send our email, store our files, provide the AI agent, and provide analytics. They may only use the information to provide those services to us.
  • Professional advisers: accountants, lawyers and auditors, where needed.
  • Legal and safety: where we are required to comply with law, a subpoena or a regulator, or where disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety or the safety of others, or to investigate fraud.
  • Business transfers: if DollarHub is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
  • With your direction: any other sharing you ask us to do.

Selling and targeted advertising. [CHOOSE ONE AND DELETE THE OTHER — (a) We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. (b) We may share limited contact and business information with funding partners for marketing purposes, which some state laws classify as a "sale" or "sharing". You can opt out at any time using the contact details below.]

5. Calls, texts and marketing

When you submit a funding request or tick the consent box on our forms, you agree that DollarHub and the funding partners we work with may contact you by phone, email and text message about your inquiry and about funding options — including by automated dialling systems or pre-recorded messages where permitted by law. Consent is not a condition of obtaining funding. Message and data rates may apply.

You can stop marketing contact at any time: reply STOP to a text, use the unsubscribe link in any email, or email us at [PRIVACY EMAIL]. We will still send messages about an application already in progress.

6. How long we keep information

InformationTypical retention
Funding requests and lead records1 years after your last contact with us
AI agent conversations2 months, unless linked to an application
Application and funding recordsAs long as required by law and our funding partners' record-keeping rules, typically 1 years
Newsletter subscriptionsUntil you unsubscribe
Website logs6 months

When information is no longer needed we delete it or make it anonymous so it can no longer be linked to you.

7. Cookies and tracking

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies:

  • Essential cookies that keep your session active, protect forms against cross-site request forgery, and let you log in to the admin area. The site does not work properly without these.
  • Preference storage in your browser that remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme.
  • Analytics [IF USED — name the tool, for example Google Analytics] which tells us how many people visit and which pages they read.
  • Advertising tags [IF USED — name the platforms, for example Meta Pixel or Google Ads] which measure the performance of our ads.

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Because there is no common standard for them, our website does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals. Where state law requires it, we honour opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control.

8. How we protect information

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access controls limiting who on our team can see your records, rate limiting and logging on our systems, and regular software updates. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security — but we do notify affected people and regulators where the law requires it.

9. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we hold about you and request a copy.
  • Correct inaccurate information.
  • Ask us to delete information we no longer need.
  • Opt out of marketing, and of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising.
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information.
  • Appeal a decision we make about your request.
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

How to make a request. Email info@dollarhub.com] or write to us at the address below, telling us what you would like us to do. We will verify your identity — usually by confirming details already on file — and respond within the time allowed by the law that applies to you, generally 45 days. An authorized agent may make a request on your behalf with written permission.

California residents. You may also request the categories of personal information we have collected, the sources, our business purpose, and the categories of third parties we disclosed it to. California's "Shine the Light" law allows you to request details of information shared with third parties for their own direct marketing; we [DO / DO NOT] share information in that way.

Credit information. If a consumer report is used in connection with your application, you have rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, including the right to know which agency supplied the report if an application is declined because of it.

Our agent and our website may link you to application forms, portals or websites operated by funding partners and other third parties. Once you leave our site, their privacy policies apply to the information you give them. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of other websites, and we encourage you to read their policies before submitting anything.

11. Businesses, not children

Our website and services are intended for business owners aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Where your information is held

Our systems and service providers are located in the United States, and information you give us is stored and processed there. If you access the site from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.

13. Changes to this policy

We update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised, and material changes will be highlighted on this page. Continuing to use the website after a change means you accept the updated policy.
